FWIW, my car is "non-HP".

Does that "foam block" holding the tire inflation kit serve any other purpose? The shape seems pretty elaborate for simply holding a rectangular box...

The center hole is for the bolt that should secure the kit in the spare tire well.

Funny you said that. I never got my shipping blocks from dealer. But I managed to stop the dealer from doing dealer prep just after he removed the blocks. In my youth I used to work for Buick and did dealer prep. So, I said I'd do my own. I saved every sticker and paper that was on or in the car. I placed all the stickers on acetate in a sleeve. There was even an 11" x 8.5" build sheet with all the option codes. I should get some spring spacer blocks off eBay when I get a chance to round out the collection. Car only has 7200 miles. I am getting to the point where the car is too fun to drive so I am sure I will add more miles in the next few years.
