So I was walking out to the car this morning and noticed something odd. I could see through the rear wheel well to the exhaust. Can someone take a picture of theirs so I can compare it. It does strike me as odd that the other side has slightly more material in there so it's not the same on both sides.

Could road debris wear this away? Seems unlikely. I have a feeling something may be chewing at it overnight.

Also can this liner be replaced?

Thanks all.

I don't have a picture but I can see my exhaust through my wheel well also. Apparently they tear that piece instead of cut it because the wheel well liner is rough like that straight from the factory.

Agreed. Done at the factory. As well as this car was engineered, I can't for the life of me understand this bit of piss-poor design

Thanks guys. That is a bit of a relief. I travel often and my car spends a lot of time sitting in the driving so I was nervous I was going to lose her to the local rabbit community

I admit this comment made me laugh...I pictured dozens of rabbits covering a beautiful sports car, sort of hopping about then sitting, just chewing away. :p
Thanks for the chuckle. :D

You laugh but I happen to live in a neighborhood over run with them. You can't go outside without seeing one and if you go for a walk you will see dozens sitting in yards. If they were eating my car I was ready to go all Elmer Fudd on em :paddle::headbonk:

Lucky for them they can't hop that high! :p
(Not sure whether they like the taste of tires, tho' :headbonk:)

You can't go all Elmer Fudd on them. Everyone knows the rabbit always wins.

You have to use the holy hand grenade of Antioch.

Saw it to on my 15 GT PP ...I am sure some company will have a fix. A small concern considering the overall quality of the rest of the car but annoying never the less

almost like that pure quality bumper sag on on some early fox body GT's ..but that was way more noticeable
