I need some good tiers to get traction not getting new rims till spring. I'm looking to get 19/275/40 stock wheels. Something I can drive in the rain if needed.

Depends on what stock wheels u have.Alot of guys that the 19Ă—9.5 wheel are squeezing 305/35/19 nitto nt05r's on and they are a great street tire and good track tire.

Tiers? When I saw your title I thought it was a typo. But then "tiers" pops up again in your post. But if you are referring to the rubber things on the wheels, it depends on the size of the wheels.

No they are not good in the rain, but your going to.decide what your goals are.If its your daily i would not put a drag radial on.If its more of a toy or track car thats different.Drag radials are not good in the rain/snow/or really cold roads.Their are a few decent extreme all weather tires that will work (ok) for bad weather driving, especially with fi.

You either want enough traction to hook with FI, or you want to be able to drive in the rain. Pick one.

It's definitely about to be cold so what extreme tier and what size can I run on 19Ă—8.5. I don't ever intend on drive in the rain but shit happens and your saying the cold isn't good. It's not my DD but I do enjoy driving it so I do not pack it away for the winter

On a 8.5 widest is a 255 issue is of its that cold you need a all season and those aren't meant for grip on a fi but I recommend checking out BFG comp 2 a/s and or conti dws06

Also for fi I recommend wider wheels for wider and stickier tires
