1) I drive a 2012 Ford Escape XLT and a 1978 Ford LTD II Sport Coupe 6.6L

2) Yes, I have owned domestic cars in the past. I've looked at the imports but was never impressed enough to buy one.

3) I've owned 15 Mustangs in the past -- several were 2nd/weekend cars. My 2015 that I have on order will be Mustang #16.

2) Nope.
3) Nope.

I almost bought a 2014 Kia Koup Turbo at the beginning of the year. They were really hard to find then and I had two dealers tell me "YES we have one come drive it" and turns out they had the base model and just wanted to try and talk me into that one. The night I went to the second dealer I drove 30min and on the way there my windshield was cracked by a flying rock. Get to the dealer and same thing. base model and trying to talk me into it. I took all these as a sign!!! I've always liked the Mustang so I went back home did some looking around and found out about the 2015 Mustang redesign... decided the wait would be worth it and here I am. I'm SOOO glad I did I would be hating life right now if I had gotten the Koup, especially when I start seeing the new mustangs around.

1. 1987 Mustang LX 5.0 , 1998 Ford Explorer 4x4 Sport, 2012 Acura TSX

2. Most of what I've owned has been Ford (2 Mustangs, 2000 Lightning, 98 Explorer), but ive also had a couple import cars in the past (88 Prelude, 03 Subie 2.5RS, and the 2012 TSX we own now).

3. I've always had some sort of Mustang (or Lightning). My 87 LX was my very first car back in 1996, and I still have it today, although right now it's undergoing a major restoration before I pass it along to my 17 year old cousin. From 2005-2008, I had an 06 GT that was one of the quicker bolt on N/A 3V's around at the time, then from 2008-2014 I had a 500rwhp Lightning on a ported stock blower. I'll have some big plans for our 2015

2. I've owned almost exclusively domestics except for an '87 Suzuki Samurai I bought a few years ago. I was a big Pontiac guy up until they went under. Here's my car timeline: '95 Grand Prix (hand me down)(totaled after being rear ended) -> '00 Grand Prix -> '95 Firebird (hand me down) -> '01 Grand Prix + '87 Samurai -> '07 Ranger

3. No previous Mustangs so the S550 will be my first. I'm really excited!

Your pole is pretty limited and doesn't reflect the true situation if you only consider recent cars owned. I have owned dozens of European cars and few American cars thrown in. The 2015 will be the second Mustang in a row for me but I really don't see myself as a Mustang guy. I just think they are finally building cars worth looking at.
Those are valid points. I didn't want to create too many poll options for fear of over complicating things. You can see that (at the time of me posting this) there are just over 100 voters. Questions two and three are yes or no options, yet adding up either of the two doesn't come close to 100, so a lot of people aren't fully understanding it as is.

Interesting numbers to look at though. One-third of the members here have never owned a Mustang, myself included.

2. Never bought domestic-always liked sports car driving feel.

3. No. But grew up with one. Father ordered 1967 Mustang, white with black vinyl top, stayed with us until 1975. First car I learned to drive.
