When I installed my SP080 springs I did not trim my bumpstops in anticipation of these mounts being released. With the springs and this mount, i still have a net gain of .50" shock travel over stock. So that's why i left the bumpstops stock.
Just finished buttoning mine down... they're fantastic and a piece of cake to install!
Sorry i can't give any driving feedback, my car is still on jackstands doing a header install.
I will order up a set of these the day they are available. I just installed SP080 springs and a slew of other BMR parts on my 2018. I'm assuming with these mounts we won't have to trim our rear bump stops since it will be raised when it's mounted?
Thanks for the confirmation guys. Makes me feel like it wasn't so much driver ability. It felt like the PCM still had some kind of intervention, so I appreciate the confirmation.
Now I won't sweat trying to figure out how to drive around it, knowing that whenever I tune the car it should...
we love our cloth seats. I was sold on the comfort/support of the non-Recaro Mustang seating when my brother in law bought his 2015 Premium GT. I absolutely fell in love with the seats. But we just prefer cloth, and the seat is otherwise the same. I'm 5'7" and a little chunky at 212 lbs, and...
so I took my car to the track for the first time yesterday. It was my first time racing a stick car in 11 years, as well as my first time ever launching on bias ply tires!
Either I'm going to need some serious advice on how to launch these particular cars on a bias ply, or the stock tune...
thanks guys. My car is currently 100% bone stock, and I was concerned about rear sway. I forgot to mention that so I'm glad you guys took up that issue. Our track is only 1/8 mile so if I'm only turning, what, 86/87 mph(?) I may not notice too much sway if I can get by with 20 psi.
I've got a set of ET Street R Bias Ply 28-11.5-17's for my 2018 M6. What kind of tire pressure are you guys starting with as a baseline with that size tire? Bout 20 psi and go down from there?
Thanks!
we've loved the updated 2018 nose from day 1. The Gen3 motor was just icing on the cake for us... we were one of the +1's for May purchases!
We thought the 2015-2017's look fine and all, but just thought the nose was too bulky in the front. We loved the lower hoodline of the GT350, and are so...
Mustang Week @ Myrtle Beach is still going on. Official events just started Tuesday, still alot of things happening. Dyno Challenge going on right now, Coyote Cruise today, Drag Night tonight, tomorrow is the Car Show, at some point an SN95/New Edge Cruise, Saturday is the Cruise In, and the...
I deleted them from my 06 GT with the Steeda delete plates. I picked up over a tenth and over 1 mph in the 1/4 with that mod. Well worth it to me, but that's negligible for someone that doesn't drag race their car; so having functioning cmcv's do have an intended function. But for drag racers...
