Interesting. I haven't heard of the cutout method. How does that work?
The Tri bar LED / Sequential Indicator Sticky thread!
Look on the UK Forum page 22 There are some photographs of it on there !:) Also on the European Forum Page 30.

Any negatives to go with it like NVH?

Mustang_Lou

NVH for sure, or should I say "V", but in a good way! I can't speak for a 4-point, but a k-member brace will bring the "feel" of the road to your steering wheel. My steering feels more like my old E92 BMW than a '87 Buick now.

Because that's all I could afford after buying this car. :D
At least for this year. 2nd Addition (Not to call it a mod)
I would say is the window tints esp. in this Florida heat. ;)

What about the mats

Out of all of the mods exhaust is prob my favorite though it is really hard to choose. If I were to buy another new one it would be the first thing I did again.

In all seriousness, what is it about weathertech mats?

Up North, we look at them as winter only additions just to keep slush and salt off the carpets. Why would you want plastic in warmer climes instead of regular carpet floor mats?

I prefer having all weather mats no matter where I am. No matter how warm and nice it is, it will rain, it will get muddy, someone will have spilled shit all over the sidewalk, etc etc. It's nice to not have to ever really worry about it.

Also generally speaking you have shoes on when you're in a car, so softness doesn't usually matter.

When you have rain storms like we do here in SFLA you would understand.
Unless of course you want your carpets ruined by having 3 inches of water
in your car and then sitting there all day or night. With the mats you can take a towel or mop rag and dry it up quickly once the rain stops. Over time you would be surprised how water can damage an interior. ;)

It's not useless when you own a black car. It's by far my best mod, dollar to happiness. At shows people always ask where I got it
I want one too... Fingerprints on the trunk are always the first thing to kill my "perfectly clean"... Always wondered why there wasn't something in there already to close the trunk without touching the paint or trim.

It probably doesn't really count as a "mod", but my favorite to date has been the California Special package. Love it! The black highlights and rims really make the Ruby Red paint pop. The seats are fantastic (cooler in the summer and grippy for cornering). I like having the strut tower brace too.

If you want a vote for an actual mod, I'd go with the FRPP Power Pack 2. It really made the car's balls drop and the revised calibration eliminated the driveability quirks (even the stock ones).

Although reading through this list has got me looking into the BMR CB005 & CB007...

Have to go with Whipple. I was fortunate enough to be able to do this and had help from Rob_teh_builder and friends. This guy needs to be paid a commission from them! At least send him some swag for representing! He sold several locals on their superchargers.

I dont get it about those WT mats..I only have them cause my wife got them as an xmas gift. Otherwise I'd resold them. Got to be the most expensive piece of dyed milkjug plastic I ever owned. And you go to clean them and they dry off leaving that dusty stain. What a hassle. .
