Just in front of the rear tire. Noticed the one side was loose or partially broken. There also appears to be some type of fastener on the underside but it didn’t seem to fit a phillips head screwdriver. Whats the purpose of this part?

It's an air deflector of some sort. I forget exactly what Ford calls it. I do know they tend to get knocked off by road debris and cost around $30. I've had to replace the one on my driver's side twice. The fastener that's not a Phillips head is a torx fastener. Here's an example but they are side specific so be careful.

Both of 'em in front of the back wheels on my 2019 GT Vert were broken and ragged so I cut 'em off flush and went on!!:like:

I thought they possibly had to do with rainwater deflection and since I never drove the car in the rain they weren't missed at all??:sunglasses:
