I hope you plugged it well so you don't dust your engine. (I've known instances where that happened over time when clamps were not tight.)

i searched for “intake resonator” and watched a bunch of CAI videos…. Nobody mentioned anything about the knob!

This one is before the filter so no issues with dust. It’s only on 15-17 cars

its still pre filter on '19. i'm pretty sure it made the turbo whistle more, but it was so long ago that i did it.

I will go with the Lava lamp description (my daughter still uses a Mathmos I bought for my wife, way before she was my wife).

It's better than how I would have described it - the one on the 18+ GT looks a little like a ... erm ... butt plug ...

Is it only on ECO boost motors? My GT had a CAI on it when I bought it. Don't have it on my 2011 v6.

i think its eco only. the 5.0 might have some sound tube thing between the airbox and throttle body
