- 2011 Altima 3.5 SR Sedan, 16 RR EB PREM (ORDERED)
Long time reader and "lurker"; Today, I ordered a 2015 Premium Ruby Red GT, equipped with the 400A equipment group, ebony leather, 6 speed automatic transmission, 3.55 gears, enhanced security package, spare tire kit, spoiler delete, and the 19" X 8.5" Premium Paint Aluminum Wheels. I paid $40K out-the-door, including all applicable taxes and fees. I "believed" I negotiated a pretty good deal/price (I have been reading and learning from this forum and particular thread for a long time now!)...until I read 50Racer's post from a few hours ago. He paid 39,250 out-the-door (this doesn't include any applicable rebates when his car is delivered). He optioned his car with (roughly) the same amount of monetary options as I did mine. Now my question is...should I go back to my dealer (before he orders the car on Monday morning) and "push" for more money off the out-the-door price? Perhaps try to "squeeze" him for $500.00 more or does the collective experienced wisdom of the forums advise to be satisfied with the 40K out-the-door price. The dealership, by the way, is in Augusta, GA. I also have my own financing through a credit union (1.74%) and there will be no trade in. Thanks in advance for your advice and assistance.
