You should be able to get one for under 30k. btw, that's about what I was looking for originally, but the more I think about it might as well try to get a premium. One of those might end up to be too pricey though as they don't seem to want to budge much below 34k and I want to be around 32 tops.

Definatley get the auto, the 6 speed manual is made in China and has issues. Friend got rid of his 13 6 speed GT for a 392 HEMI with the awesome 8 speed AUTO. Don't get me wrong I LOVE manuals, but if Ford had a decent American made manual for their GT I would be more for it.

Impossible right now. All the places that have BASE 16 GT Autos listed at $29-30k have"Extras" they tag on and it turns out to be $32-33k + taxes. :tsk: Like I said in another post. Now is not the time to buy, its that time of the year when they are selling like hot cakes and they won't drop price that much.

Idk, Koons has a white gt listed for just over 27k and 10+ others for just over 28k. Yeah fees and such may tack on about 1.5k, but would still be under 30k. Imo they are trying to get rid of the 16's now to make room for the 17's.

I e-mailed them, Koon's, about a 2016 GT Auto they advertised for a low WOW price of $28,250 with a $750 rebate. It's all teaser prices.

When I asked for an OTD price (I'm in Ohio) they added on $900 for freight, $599 for processing fee (lol), $2500 Ohio tax, and $280 for tags (another rip off). :tsk:

The total came to $32,550. They said I could finance at 60 months for 1.9% or 72 months at 3.9% but I wouldn't be able to use the rebate. My credit score is in the low 800's.

I know I can find a better deal elsewhere with a better finance rate and without me absorbing the fees.

Good luck!

That is better then the local Ford dealership I actually went to.
Base 2016 GT Auto in Oxford White. $32,224.44 after $750 Manufacture rebate.

$400 Admin fee

$32,623.44

License and title process fee $3.50
Sales Tax: $2953.55

$35,580.49

They gave me the same rates as you and my credit score is in the low 800's too. Could do 0% for 36 months. Doesn't really matter to me since I plan on buying the car in cash. So interest doesn't matter. I probably won't get as good as a deal as opposed to someone who is financing. Since they are making money off of interest.

Yeah that $900 freight should already be in the MSRP.

That $600 Processing fee is a joke!

But it is close to $3k cheaper then my local dealer. (My tax will be higher)

My guess would be towards the fall after the warm months.

I called them up. For a BASE 2016 GT out the door BEFORE taxes was $29851. They have it listed at $28,XXX but that is if you are active military AND a student. Then factor in the $599 processing fee and $3 titling which is where I got that number. Gotta figure out a flight from KC all the way to Maryland and then the LONG drive back to see if its even worth the time and hassle. I am under the impression on just to wait. I think good deals will be had the last 2 weeks of December in 2016. Just have to patient which will be tough! :ninja:

This is why I want to order one around the October time frame so it hits in December when it's done. I already have a price set in my mind so it should work out fairly easy in these months.

That's a good plan! However, you can only order a 17 model and the bigger discounts will be on the 16. The only caveat about getting a big discount on the 16 is finding the one you want.

I'm sure there will be discounts/rebates on the 17's but it won't be as much as the 16's towards the end of the year.
