I was waiting on gf after like my hour of driving, sat around idling for a good while, long time actually and CHT finally got to 200s, I drove around for a minute all dropped back down. I assume the coolant all got to that temp, so took a moment, but my gauge was perfectly green, so im happy to report it appears my car is functioning as it should. I think it'll be awesome in summer, and I do want to take it to drag strip because my friends go there and always ask me, but ive never once gone before.See why I said this was a waste of effort? lol
You'll probably find the difference between bottom green and top green on that graph is about 30f, push it hard and the oil gets hot, that's what happens even with big radiators. Coolant temp generally stays around 200f as the cooling system is designed for that. Engine's run the most 'efficient' at 200f-ish
so you fitted an extra large coolant radiator because your oil temps were high? Why not fit a thermostatically controlled oil cooler??ive been driving 20-30 mins
I idle at 185-186.8 even, doesn’t go higher, second I start moving, it drops to 170 and climbs back up.
On highway it stays 100% at 185.
but I havnt seen it go above 186.8 that’s when it lets coolant pass i assume, because it’s immediate drop to 170-172%
my needle hasn’t made it to the center of green on my dash. I know it’ inferred temp.
donyou think I made a bad decision to put mishi in my eb? It’s 47* out to.
I mean... I’ve been idling 10 minutes and that guage on dash doesn’t go any higher.
before I could idle and engine head temp could get into 200s up to 215 I think.Brought it down to 195 when coolant passed.
now it’s 186.8 max and 170 low. I hope another eb owner chimes in saying if they can get into middle of green in summer or not lol.
from and how much? Interested in upping my stock GT steering wheel game.Ordered a GT-350 steering wheel.
I ordered it from Wade Ford here in Atlanta. $599 out the door. I picked it up. Well worth it to me.from and how much? Interested in upping my stock GT steering wheel game.
This one from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F0GVBWYwhat forscan OBD2 adapter are you using??
Because.... it seemed like a lot of work, and I know the last difference from performance pack to my base was, I don’t have a larger radiator.so you fitted an extra large coolant radiator because your oil temps were high? Why not fit a thermostatically controlled oil cooler??
You need the following:What all is needed for for the gauge install? Tried looking it up a few weeks ago and it mentioned needing a lot more parts than what you are describing.
Actually, it's 138 deg F.You'll probably find the difference between bottom green and top green on that graph is about 30f ...
Happy for you. I'm fed up with Steeda right now. Communication has been shit. Finally got some parts from them that I ordered during the BF sale. No acknowledgement about the other parts I asked for specifically; several times.Steeda Magneride dual rate springs, Steeda brace, FP oil separator.
Sorry to hear that, shipment for me was quick, within a week of BF.Happy for you. I'm fed up with Steeda right now. Communication has been shit. Finally got some parts from them that I ordered during the BF sale. No acknowledgement about the other parts I asked for specifically; several times.

it just seems an odd way to try and resolve an issue by improving an area that doesn't have an issue. As long as you are happy then that's what countsBecause.... it seemed like a lot of work, and I know the last difference from performance pack to my base was, I don’t have a larger radiator.
I don’t want to pull my bumper and risk breaking it is my absolute fear
I am quite surprised I have installed both an intercooler and radiator without pulling bumper. Lol tiny ass hands work wonders
