Ya know......this week has sucked.

My co-workers are down with COVID. I'm here doing everything, which has just been dealing with/fixing problems, and not meeting any new clients because it's the quiet time of the year.

I just want to get in my car and drive. Just enjoy a nice drive, get out of this area for awhile.

Thank you Ford, for making a great car that brings some many so much pleasure.

Ive always liked the GT grills over all the other OEM options. They give the car a much more aggressive look. The stock EB and cali grills just look more... laid back or passive. Just my .02.
I like the very open, non-horizontal grilles. Plain, but in a neat way. Cervinis;

Stock stat is 190 degrees. Sounds like it is stuck open to me....
ive been driving 20-30 mins
I idle at 185-186.8 even, doesn’t go higher, second I start moving, it drops to 170 and climbs back up.
On highway it stays 100% at 185.

but I havnt seen it go above 186.8 that’s when it lets coolant pass i assume, because it’s immediate drop to 170-172%

my needle hasn’t made it to the center of green on my dash. I know it’ inferred temp.

donyou think I made a bad decision to put mishi in my eb? It’s 47* out to.

I mean... I’ve been idling 10 minutes and that guage on dash doesn’t go any higher.

before I could idle and engine head temp could get into 200s up to 215 I think.Brought it down to 195 when coolant passed.

now it’s 186.8 max and 170 low. I hope another eb owner chimes in saying if they can get into middle of green in summer or not lol.

Added a Holly Sniper shift light today.
Have the FP pp3 and the car goes ape anywhere over 6k... and last thing I want to do is look down. But then missing shifts sucks too. So, problem solved!

So are my temperatures perfectly safe? And thank you for that info! It just concerns me I havnt got it to middle of green. Maybe if I drove for awhile on highway Itl get up there.

I was panicking a bit. But the green gauge is oil temp and that’s inferred somehow

My car is the HPP and the dash coolant stays middle green.
There should be a coolant sensor and a cylinder head sensor.
There is not an oil temp sensor. I did get a filter plate and add one to mine tho.

Just got it, will read it over again. I parked, I’ve been driving a good 45 mins highway and city, my guage is almost middle. And as I’m idling it’s slightly going back down.

I gave it some gas a couple times from stop, it goes from 185-186 and drops down to 165. Then raises, under Wot it must dump more coolant vs just casual driving. That 186 to 165 is an instant drop.

yeah looking again, oil guage temp is steadily dropping backdown from almost middle. I’d say it was 90% middle til I stopped

it’s 47* out, so I get it if engineoil

drops a little.

as long as everything’s fine, I gotta saythe mishimoto is a beast for cooling.

See why I said this was a waste of effort? lol

You'll probably find the difference between bottom green and top green on that graph is about 30f, push it hard and the oil gets hot, that's what happens even with big radiators. Coolant temp generally stays around 200f as the cooling system is designed for that. Engine's run the most 'efficient' at 200f-ish

Finally got all the wiring, custom fabrication and DSP in the car and tuned along with each amplifiers gains. Sounds unbelievable, I could sit in it for hours just listening to tunes. Now to remove the factory amp and fabricate an ABS mount for the DSP and put all the panels back on.

Since the oil temp display is calculated, I suspect that changing some of the inputs used to make the calculation could affect the calculation (i.e. gives a less accurate value). One possibility?

Hi Western Mustang- have been umming and ahhing on the Harrop for some time. Burkey talked me out if it 18 montha ago - but I ma bored with the power and need more mumba on track days. Can I ask a few questions about your experience with the Harrop? Driveability still okay? No canned tune for manuals so where did you get it tuned- your tuner may share a base tune perhaps. What did the dyno and tune cost you?
