Had to tell her "no play today, 100% chance of rain", as I climbed into my F150. The only good news is that I get to hit every mud puddle on the way home and splash everyone else. Everyone around here knows that you don't drive a nice car in the rain during sugar cane harvest.

How did you go about this trim? What did you use? Also any suggestions on a paint company that can handle engine bay temps?
It is 3M vinyl wrap material. A sign writer did it for me.

Put a GT350 steering wheel on my v6 auto. Thanks to the local forum member for a good deal on a used wheel and member SoCalTim for the "how to" thread and confirmation that the swap will work on an automatic paddle shift car. Interesting to me was almost every screw needed to be snugged from the factory torque. I'm thinking they are assembled with a set to torque tool and left on the light side to avoid a breakage.

I was just shopping for this stuff. Thinking of doing cherry red. We don't close on the house for a month
If you get the kit buy a extra pack of multi color flakes. They never give you enough.

Upper/lower grill delete, custom mesh grill, and Velossa Tech snorkel installed while the bumper was off.

The grill delete and mesh cost me about $30 in metal and glue. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Installed Anchor Room’s blackout tint on the headlights yesterday. I have bigwormgraphix’s charcoal kit to install, likely tomorrow when it’s hopefully 10 degrees warmer.

Swapped out front brake pads to Powerstop Z26 pads, bedded them in. I was tired of the dust on the wheels, real easy to do to. Removed the Sound Symposer (what an eyesore) Removed the engine cover as well. Starting to think about a ProCharger for street, not this year, but perhaps by the end of next year. Also will most likely tighten up the rear end before that, Stop-the-hop, beefier axels, then the poweradder.

I think the cheap ones just get dizzy easier.

But seriously, either of your much more plausible explanations sound like they might result in a shorter battery life.

Finally got around to redo my garage floor. Its been about 10 years and it was very much indeed of redo. More pics to come.
I did my floor like that about 10 years ago with lots of flakes . Its looking rough now and I am tired of trying for small nuts, washers, screws and clips on the floor lol Next summer it will be plain gray :)

Yes, losing hardware on a flaked floor is a pain, especially small Stuff. The bummer with the smooth colors is. They are slippery when wet. Flip-Flops/water bad Ju-Ju.

I would think there may be some sort of coating for that. Our whole house is smooth (honed) travertine but not very slippery when wet due to the kind of sealer used.

Speaking of wheels. I did a little cleaning earlier today...

Nice :sunglasses:

If you want to get rid of those red dots on the tyres, a little bit of work with white spirit will do the trick - I think you guys call it mineral spirit ?

The dot goes well with the red calipers. Just kidding. I cleaned my wheels yesterday and think I've learned to not notice the dots anymore.
