Framed the poster I got from Mustang week
Framed my window sticker

(Don't hate - frames were cheap at WM.)

This is nice. There are guys that don't get but a few sqft of space to call their own in a garage. Simple & clean, nice job!

I just noticed the "all paid for". Great feeling isn't it?

Thanks for the kind words.

It's my first mechanic's style look chest. Fiance was more interested in them than I was at first. Her comment about consolidating many of my tools (not all are car related) just made sense. We shopped around. Menard's Masterforce line is truly the best available now, IMO. But the Harbor Freight line also seemed pretty solid, and with a sensible price. The blue color and sale price closed the deal. Now it's just a matter of "In which drawer did I put my meter?" lol

As for space, yeah, having a tract home standard 2 car garage is better than none with an apartment, but I wish they'd build them 6' wider and longer. We've rimmed our garage with workbench, and 3'x1.5' plastic pop-up shelving. Plus we really need a 3-car garage because of a winter car. Sucks that the winter car stays out in the cold, covered in snow, gets rusty, etc. So to go to work you have to sweep off the snow, then get in a cold car to start it. Fiance gets in her car, presses the Open garage door button, and then backs out.

Got my hood struts and sto n sho on, anyone else with the hood struts experience the washer hose being smashed? Any tips on relocation so that it is actually useable?

Those are the ones I want! Just can't decide whether I want to allocate the money towards it or not really. Going for 19s or 20s?

Interested in your thoughts when they come.

Looks like a rod bearing or two spun an blew. Any idea what caused it, and what was going on when it did let go - ie, high RPM. What oil were you running?

Ooooffaaaa.....

THAT is some serious ventilation that happened!! It reminds me of my 94 Bronco years ago when it decided to ventilate the 5.0 block at 65mph on the highway... both cyls 4 & 8 let go....pieces everywhere and nothing salvageable, including the heads and anything below them...LOL!

Best of luck with the replac, met build!

I ordered a bottle from Amazon and it came with a 5 dollar rebate. Going to try it out when I detail next month.

This product is meant as a stand alone or on top of wax as per meguires instruction.

Topping it with wax isn't one of the ways this stuff is used. You can I suppose but not one of Meg's recommended ways.

Thought I'd try some wax (Liquid Souveran) instead of my usual Klasse sealant for the weekly cruisin' night (and my birthday) and wow did the car pop! Think I'll do another coat just for the heck of it. It was that easy.
