Today I wished I were driving my Mustang...exactly the same wish I've had for the past fifteen days! This rain just won't quit. It's supposed to finally dry out Wednesday...just in time to rain again Friday, Saturday and Sunday. FML.

Finally installed the JLT Oil Separator. Easiest mod I've ever done.

Be careful pulling off the OEM fascia under the headlights where it snaps on. I broke one of the clips. Not a big deal as it's held on by a multitude of screws, but if you try to sell it somebody might complain.

I did a thorough wash.. I had done autoscrub about a month ago, so I recommend doing that to...

Autoscrub or claybar
Liquid glass car wash
Liquid Glass precleaner
Liquid glass wax. (At least 2 coats) Let it bake in the sun after you do the last coat. I also recommend applying more coats when the paint is clean and you just feel like it. It only gets better.

Got home from work on Friday and took the car across the road for a few quick pictures (cell phone :( ..). Did another cruise with my old Subaru bros late Saturday night on some back roads. I was the only non WRX/STi but I think I have truly shown those guys the handling capabilities of the new Mustang. The guy in front of me was a FBO STi was a bit surprised that I was keeping up with him (when we stopped at the end of the cruise he asked if he was in my way because I was always right at his ass). Very pleased with the PP handling. My car is completely stock besides CBE and it just handles amazing. Taking off quickly is a bit more tricker for the Mustang than an AWD car but I didn't too bad and what I lost in take off definitely made it back up by the end of 2nd.

My brother came down from MD Sunday and brought a demo car (never has to drive his own cars). He had a 6.1 Hemi Challenger. Safe to say those cars stand no chance against the Mustang GT stock for stock. The 6.4 is a different story though.

I'm at 33XX. Tomorrow will make 2 months since I picked it up. I keep trying to pace myself because I want to keep it under 12k a year but it's going to be hard...;) It's not my daily but over half of those miles are from the highway on days I do decide to take it into work (100 miles round trip). The rest are backroad/mountain cruise miles.

I wonder if I will drive it that much. I traded in an almost 2 year old Acura with 7900 miles on it. It's nice to live 6.5 miles from work!
You will... it's a really fun car to drive.
