This is something else that I noticed; Guard on GT's seems to be even rarer. Most Guard cars I have seen have been V6 or EcoBoost cars.
I also ordered my car, but mostly to get a Guard car with the silver PP wheels, and the saddle interior.
I don't know about year round, the Sports and the DWS are different. the Sport is the new version of the old DW (Dry/Wet) and the DWS is the all-season (Dry/wet/snow) I still swap to Yokohama Winter V905s for the winter months.
I know, I lived in Florida for 10 years, including when I bought the 16. I've been in MI for 2 years, but still only have the Mustang for daily diriving. It was nice not having to worry about anything but summer performance tires, but really, it is VERY fun to be able to powerslide around...
I have been very happy with my Continental Extreme Contact Sports. Not the top of the line performance, but definitely an upgrade from the Pirelli's on the PP. I daily drive my car, so I didn't want track tires for the road. I can't rotate my tires with the PP, but I still am at 50,000 with the...
I don't think I posted mine before. I got these OZ Racing Leggera HLT wheels last summer. I use them as the summer wheels with summer tires, and kept my stock silver PP wheels for winter tires. They were the same offsets which was nice, and still 19x9 and 19x9.5. The only thing is that they make...
2016 GTPP with 34,000 miles.
Drives surprisingly well in snow with winter tires on it, as long as you go easy.
Then find an unplowed empty parking lot and pretend you’re Vaughn Gitten Jr.
I’ve gotten up slushy hills better than some guy with a FWD Chevy Sonic, but you have to turn...
I just had this happen to me this morning on the way to work. Definitely not used to PP brakes not working.
You are right that there is something on them. I can see it, but I’m not sure if it’s oil.
I have the silver wheels, and they are usually filthy with brake dust. They are too clean...
I got a job at a company in Novi, or at least one of their regional offices there. I was originally from IL before we lived in FL though, so I'm not unfamiliar with having real seasons, just having a Mustang in winter... :D
I'm not at the point of being able to have more than one car, so come...
Hello,
I've been on the forum a bit, but I live in FL, but I am moving to Novi, MI at the end of May. Thought I'd switch region forum sections and introduce myself.
My name is Dan, and I have a 2016 Fastback GT w/PP in Guard.
Also wondering about any clubs or anything in the area...
I needed new rear tires at just about 10K. I never did any burnouts, never touched line-lock, etc. The fronts were fine, would probably have gone double that amount.
As for why one side over the other, maybe the alignment is off? Or maybe just more turns one way than the other? Our Flex had...
I had my 4.6 V8 from my 2008 as mine for a while.
Haven't recorded the 5.0, using a Comfortably Numb guitar solo right now.
My text message tone is the Star Trek communicator chirp.
I know, it's up there, but I also got a shirt, so shipping wasn't just for that. At least that's how I justified it to myself. :D
Unfortunately, I don't have any discount code.
Issue resolved, at least appears so. I changed out the batteries and it hasn't tried to unlock the doors on its own yet, but the fob works.
Seems like an odd way to let you know the batteries are going dead though.
It is in pieces at the moment, and I took the rubber boot off, tried putting all back together after wiping lint away from the buttons, buttons inside look fine.
I'm going to try new batteries before thinking of getting a new fob. I just don't want to only have one.
One of my key fobs has decided that the car needs to stay unlocked. And the windows need to be rolled down.
Yesterday, I was out doing errands and had no issues. I got home, unloaded the car, and went inside. I went back out a few minutes later and the windows were down. I thought maybe I...
