Any other engine mods? What's your opinion on the cams if you'd had a chance to wind it up yet...

I haven’t had a chance to drive it yet the only other mod at the moment is long tube headers and boundary oil pump gears. I’m going to pull the cats off today and see how loud this sucker really is. Getting somebody to sell me. The catless connectors was weird. Felt like I was going to the black market or something. Nobody seems to sell them.

Parts waiting to go on: I have a Holley ultra low ram manifold being ported at AFS right now, should have that back in a couple weeks. Those beautiful billet rails will get GT500 injectors. VMP twinjet 69mm paired to a JLT CAI.

Installed Steeda full length jacking rails. I don't need them at home, but it sure makes it easier if I ever have to use a floor jack.

I also installed their clutch assist spring. The clutch is firmer, but the big improvement is that it is much more linear and not as sterile feeling as the factory spring.

The modem that constantly reports back to Ford all sorts of driving metrics including accelleration, braking, etc. ford then shares with data brokers who sell it to insurance companies. If you have Ford Pass app you are willingly sharing data with ford and anyone they sell the information to. Several current threads on the general page of this forum about it.

Thanks, figure if I ever sell the car be number is locked down down for the next guy too.

Ca charges a fee every year to have a personalized plate, and it’s a 9/11 memorial plate, which costs a little extra. That money allegedly goes to the 9/11 fund. With all the fees and taxes this state charges I’m just happy they don’t make me pay registration twice.

Finally got around Adding the Bilstein B6 shocks and struts to the H&R Sport lowering springs and sway bars.

Any pics of the car? I'm curious to see the ride height since I want to lower mine.

No provision for parking brake but @Knockdown has a great solution!! I’ve decided I don’t need it, I mostly track the car and as on the track I just don't use my parking brake at any time. I got I believe 25% off during their black Friday sale. Ive been waiting to put them on for what seems an eternity here in what was frozen Ohio. They look amazing and should perform even better.

No more black/yellow lettering on CA plates? I love that retro look. All of my early cars when I lived there were white w/blue lettering and red raised California.

The 'BLACK' plate is a retro design, it was the standard Cali plate in the late sixties. You can still get them but you have to order them, just like here in Ohio when you order a vanity plate.
