Thank you :like:

I didn't cut them personally.

I did (multiple ... lol) templates using card and then clear film (to pick up the mounting locations) and then I transfer that info into AutoCAD (I started on AutoCAD R10 over 30 years ago ...).

Once its in AutoCAD I can export to dxf which I have used for carbon and stainless parts or eps which I have used for graphics and ppf.

Then it's just a matter of finding someone who works in the material you want. The cad files give them everything they need so they are supplied with no traditional drawings or dimensions, just an electronic outline and an instruction of what material / thickness / and finish I want.

I have a local guy that does the metal parts for me by either water jet or laser cutting and a couple of local graphics guys (although I have also used Anchor Room for the PPF on my hood vents).

I found a guy in Poland about seven years ago that's done the carbon bits for my bike and car. He actually advertised as doing carbon chassis and suspension parts for RC cars and carbon parts for drones - so I knew he had the kit and processes I needed to get my bike bits done :like:

I just gather up my projects and get them done in one hit to minimise minimum order values, which normally means I end up upgrading or making things that aren't really necessary ... :giggle:

I have loads of pictures, but this should be a Mach 1 thread and we were talking about small stone guards ... lol

WDpro those are all real nice pieces- especially the water faucets. I hate those little cheap rods they all come as standard "handles"

Put on my @JOKER M1 chassis number decals. His are installed out back, and look really good. I went with them in the front, not 100% sold on the location. We’ll see if/how it grows on me. (The driver’s side came out perfect, passenger side is just a little off. If this ends up the permanent location, I’ll redo the passenger side.

I briefly considered just a single decal on the front bumper under the headlight as an homage to the Saleen cars, but ultimately decided against it.

I am thinking of putting mine on the front fender like you did. I like both but think it stands out a bit more in the front. Thanks for sharing.

Looks good, I actually like that location. You may have done this but if not next time cut it out closer, makes it easier to line up and maybe add some painters tape to use as a straight line. If you want smaller ones for the bumper let me know.
I wouldn’t mind a small one for the front, like Saleen does.

IIRC the old school Saleens used an outline style # They color of the car would show thru the center of each # and it was just an outline in white or black, depending on car color.

Finally did it! Thanks for pushing me over the ledge that I was teetering over for so long. The wrap is actually gloss black PPF, then Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra on top.

Let me work on the font this weekend, I made smaller ones with the same font and it looked goofy as shit on the front bumper. I’ll see if I can find/get something similar to what Saleen does 👍🏻
Thanks Man!

Making a set of baby mud flaps!

Yes, that’s correct. Small and almost unnoticeable flaps to cover the area behind the front wheel that gets pegged and slowly demolished over time.

No clue why ford didn’t extend the lip down further a few inches.

Lots of measuring and re-fitting as my ocd wasn’t happy.

* the templates as they evolved*

IMG_1089.jpeg

*The first plastic flap went on but it needed to taper down a bit more. SO back to cardboard i went*
IMG_1077.jpeg

* Much better*
IMG_1086.jpeg

IMG_1082.jpeg

*Almost there*
IMG_1083.jpeg

*Uses all the OEM holes*
IMG_1085.jpeg

*All the nonsense for such a small job lol*

I thought about getting the ZL1 skirt extension but figured I could come up with something. Front guards are from my old 2005 GT, got fancy with some cf vinyl that's going to get pummeled with debris 😁 oh well.
