Also swapped out the 22 CAI for a 20 GT350 piece. No carbon filter or restrictions. So far it has not thrown any check engine lights or ran poorly.

I wonder how restrictive that is?

I have the Redline struts to install with all the other stuff I have, just haven't picked up the Mach 1 yet!šŸ˜†šŸ˜
How did they fit? What others have said.... some say they are great, others not so good?
They were very easy and work great.

The picture doesnā€™t really show it, but it about 2 inches or long and itā€™s heavy for what it is. I would say it is restrictive.

It seems this type of misalignment is more common then one might think. I was told by an authorized tech that it was in tolerance on mine and I know others who have the same issue.

What exactly are we looking at? Is it a interface between the front splitter (the lower left part of the picture) and the engine bay deflector? Then it is interesting that the trajectory of the impact seems to be pointing in a strange angle and even almost in reverse.

Anyway, this seems like a "cosmetic" damage to me. If this is supposed to change the light alignment, then something else is wrong.
I'm not convinced it's cosmetic. If you look at the part where the metal bends around the corner there is unpainted metal exposed and it looks like whatever pice that is may have broken. The entire piece of metal there is painted but there is clearly a sharp edge with grey metal unpainted where it looks like it should be joined

wow, looks great in all black (and I usually don t do black). I still think those wheels are the best looking option on this car, classic!

The only real difference in your and a gt350, is the 350 does not have that box on the bottom of the tube.

What I meant by "cosmetic" is that it should not cause any structural damage to the chassis/frame which is responsible for the light alignement. It looks like someone drove over something, the trajectory is visible on both plastic parts. Some plate got caught in between and got bent and scratched. Since trace of the damage continues over the painted plate it means the plate did not absorb the damage (if it did, it would look differently). But I am no forensic investigator, just giving an armchair observation .

Whatā€™s the box for?
Not sure, hereā€™s the Mach tube above the 350. Maybe someone smarter than me knows what it is . From the picture you sent, it looks like it is on your as well.

That filter is replaceable, what would happen if you just took out the filter? Is the opening after the filter is removed restrictive in any way? Leave the Hemholtz chamber intact.

I donā€™t think itā€™s a replaceable filter like the air filter. The plastics around it are clipped in place. Being that I might have to reinstall it, I did not want to damage it trying to fully remove and investigate the carbon filter.

The Hemholtz chamber might be useful, but It wasnā€™t used on the 350 tube.

My 03 had one on it most people referred to it as the milk jug. Most guys removed them day one, mainly because it was an eye sore. Time will tell, Iā€™m going see how it continues to run and let you guys know.
