My friends grabber lime Boss.
Grabber Lime is such a great color that it might almost make me consider a GT350! 😂
Has that been painted ?
I understood from the history of the grabber colours that GL was 1971 and 2020 only ?

actually, the 2013 BOSS302's exterior color is called "Gotta Have It Green", which is metallic and pops gold flakes in the sun.
i believe Grabber Lime is solid (non-metallic) and is a lighter shade.

I saw this one parked out last night. Pretty sick looking. It looked more green in person than the pic. I think it’s a wrap however.

So I brought it to work for the second time and probably the last time to show a few people who had been out on the road who wanted to see it. I’ve never had this happen to my 2019 GT although I don’t think I tried it but I thought I would mention it to see if anybody else had this happen. I remote started it as we were walking up to the car so they could hear a somewhat cold start on the exhaust and then we open the doors and they looked inside and then somebody asked me to pop the hood. When I popped the hood The engine shut off. I am wondering if that’s a safety feature for some reason. I don’t see the logic behind it if it is. Just want to see if anybody else I tried this.

Yes when you open the hood it disables the remote start. So if you haven’t fully started the car with the push button, it will kill the engine when you pop the hood.

Installed a data plate, oil seperator, and had to take a pic walking back to my car.

License plates went on today.

Hydrocarbon filter came out and an AirRaid filter went on.

Replaced the not so attractive auto shift lever with a Hurst pistol grip shifter. Looks great and works really well!

Lots more to come, but tomorrow it goes for Expel clear protective film on the front end, mirrors, A pillars and a few inches of the roof just behind the top edge of the windshield. So...more mods next week after it comes back from having the Expel put on.

The filter sets in a sleeve, that sets inside the air tube going to the throttle body. The filter is not hard to remove from the sleeve, but getting the sleeve out of the air tube to get to the filter is real bugger. There are 3 really stiff tabs inside the sleeve that all need to be pried up at the same time to pull the sleeve from the air tube. I probably wrangled with it for at least 20 minutes before getting the sleeve out. I used 3 flat bladed screw drivers to go down inside the sleeve to pry up on the tabs. If by chance you can get a second pair of hands to help, I'd really recommend it.

To be honest, I only moved the car from my shop, back to my garage....so haven't driven it yet...but no codes from that short hop. I've not heard of anyone removing the hydrocarbon filter and having codes or problems with it. If I do, I'll be sure to post here on 6G and let everyone know.
