License plates went on today.

Hydrocarbon filter came out and an AirRaid filter went on.

Replaced the not so attractive auto shift lever with a Hurst pistol grip shifter. Looks great and works really well!

Lots more to come, but tomorrow it goes for Expel clear protective film on the front end, mirrors, A pillars and a few inches of the roof just behind the top edge of the windshield. So...more mods next week after it comes back from having the Expel put on.

Nice first mods, take a whiff of that hydrocarbon filter. Smells really good, I had it on my desk smell lasted about a month.

It fits perfectly. It can't go back on either. The threads were stripped when I removed it to put on a White Madness shift knob which I did not like. It now sits on my desk. So I ordered another white Ford Performance shift knob and put that on the car. Boo!. Will be replacing it with a Raceseng in the near future.

Nice I have the same air filter. Is that hydrocarbon filter easy to take out and did the car throw any codes with it out?

Drove the car 120 miles today to Des Moines to get the Xpel clear film put on.

No codes after removing the hydrocarbon filter....the car ran great!

That's the one I have my eye on. Size wise would you say it's smaller, larger, or roughly the same size as the white Ford Performance shift knob that came with the Mach 1? How is the weight of it?

Definitely heavier but also taller, took a little while to get used to that. But now feels completely normal.

I have a few questions

The threads that were stripped on the original knob, were they plastic or brass ?

When the white Ford Performance knob comes off, if you want to sell it and are happy to ship it to the U.K. for a fair price, I might be interested

No codes are thrown BUT its important to keep the diameter of the intake the same. You want to put back the housing that holds the hydrocarbon filter to avoid fuel trim issues from a revised diameter pipe. There is videos on YouTube and some posts on here as well.
