Check another item off the list of why these cars are so great. Just sitting in it or pulling up a chair and staring at her is magical. Man I love these cars!

I bought mine another roommate. Super super clean car, but still needed my level of attention to get the paint where I wanted it. 2005, two owner, 105K, bone stock sans wheels. The 350 likes roommates.

Looks Great! If you haven't been to RA before you will love it. high horsepower track tailor made for these cars.
Will be my first time at RA. Wisconsin native now living in South Carolina. Two friends roadtripping also with a C6Z and another GT350. My Dad bought a 1966 GT350 new from Tousley Ford (6S376) and I have pics of him with it at Road America so need a picture of mine there.
Which event at Road America?
MVPTracktime 4-5 May.

Locked my GDMF’n key in my trunk! Was in my gym bag.

‘Auto detect’ failed. Let me close it. Wouldn’t open. Nor would the doors. That is, until the Mrs brought my second key.

A reminder. Life is tough. It’s tougher when you’re stupid!

If you make a little longer trip here the Northwoods Shelby Club is having a weekend at Road America April 20-21. Your going to LOVE Road America!

First night I brought my home, I pulled up the pop out rocking chair in the garage - ended up getting hammered alone just staring at her…wife came outside and just said, “what’s wrong with you?” I said, “you’ll never understand baby, just leave me in peace.”

Haha, a thing of beauty. I must admit the lines look so much better at a slight distance, you can really appreciate her when getting the full perspective vs a little window, so I like pulling her car out of the garage for full enjoyment :)

Replaced the LR bearing hub @ 19.8k miles. Top portion of the hub in the photos was 6 o'clock portion where the bearing shavings accumulated and rusted...but, thankfully, she just popped right out. Tossing some lessons learned in the Suspension/Brakes/Chassis forum as the CJ Pony Parts video was a bit 'underwhelming'....

TG, could you hear the bearing squealing or was there smoke/smell? Or did you notice it while removing a wheel or brakes. Curious how you knew it needed replacement. I haven't had one go out on me yet but I'd like to catch it before it's completely crippled.

I found it when I had the car jacked up to decontaminate the sidewalls prior to applying BlackOut (easier to do if you can spin the wheel). While grabbing the wheel to spin it, I could feel the slight wobble that would create about 1mm of space btwn the rotor and pads.

It really just felt like a wheel with an adjustable bearing that needed tad more tightening…but that can’t be done with our sealed bearing/hub config.

Putting in the 500 miles so I can get back to the dealer for the oil consumption test. Hearing a rattle from under the body somewhere, but the car is too damn low to get under it for me to check  Also finding out that the parking brake needs the life nearly pulled out of it to be functional. I know there's a thread somewhere in this sub for that...

She's FILTHY. Needs a bath. Looking for recs on cleaning products. Kicking myself for tossing all the cleaning products I had for my Berlina Black S2000 a few years ago.
