I saw mine sitting in the back lot of the dealer. It is waiting for back ordered parts for the tone ring TSB.

My family lived in Bonn, West Germany, from '64-'67. My Dad worked for Litton Industries at the time in LA. He took a transfer to Bonn when Litton was selling to the West German Air Force navigation systems for the F-104 Starfighters the West Germans were buying from Lockheed. Another Litton employee from LA was working with my Dad in Bonn. He had a Shelby GT350 that he used to take out on the autobahn and race all day. He finally blew up the engine, but had a blast racing the Germans on the autobahn.
Loved this story right up to the point you mentioned blowing the engine

That is the stuff of my nightmares; * supposedly * the US warranty is still in effect, but I would have to pay out of pocked for the work first and then find a US dealer that is willing to deal with the warranty paperwork on my behalf...

Definitely not Kasteel van Ooidonk, not indrukwekkend enough...!!!!!
Hahaha love it - OK I'll let you guys in on the secret: it's actually the entrance to the old NATO HQ Cannerberg, its location used to be "ultra secret". Literally a stone's throw down the road from Chateau Neercanne (3rd picture from the top in my previous post).

@TonyNJ Which one is that? I'm wanting to do this too (to add a roll bar). Just starting to shop around at options. Figure the factory R setup is the best option. Thanks for any info!

It's this one...

Ford Performance M-6346612-GT Mustang FB '18-20 Rear Seat Delete Kit

Expect about a $150 shipping and tax because it's a big box. If the shipper destroys the package like they did mine, you'll get about a $150 discount.

GT350 Roll bar.jpg

Here is a Shelby American installed roll bar with the Shelby rear seat delete. I think they are both made by Watson. I have been very pleased with both, and I still have the original rear seat delete unmolested. I like the flat rear seat delete better because it easier to vacuum. This is in a GT350R.

@Dharri21 So you took your factory R seat delete out to preserve it, and just went with that option so you didn't have to cut the roll bar holes in the factory one?

@TonyNJ Aahhh...so isn't that one basically, or exactly like, the factor R? I'm guessin yes at that price point.

I believe it's actually the one from the GT500 CFTP. From my research, the 35OR RSD needed some small holes drilled in it and it used plastic push pins to secure it. This one now used bolts into the factory seatbelt holes and a rivnut. A little more secure and zero modification/fab required. But 95% the same.

Shelby American used their preferred rear seat delete kit because they were precut for the harness bar. I like the fact it is flat; the stock kit is tough to vacuum and not good for putting stuff. SA sent me every part that was removed in perfect condition for "fee". They even sent the original clips back. The GT350R rear seat delete is identical to the GT500 CFTP seat delete.

I have a buddy who works at Lockheed here in Marietta, GA and said that my rear "swing" needs a little bit more down force... he works with the wind tunnel and knows aero-dynamics.
I asked, "How much more down-force are you talking?"... he kept saying, "Just a little bit, it's almost perfect.
I asked if I should get a Gurney Flap... he researched and said "No...that's to much".
He said that they (Lockheed) could make a modification to my "swing" to achieve just the right balance.
I replied, "Go for it."

And here it is:

Wow... what a difference!
I can feel the extra grip when cornering at speeds as low as 2-3 mph...!!!!!

If anyone is interested in a Group Buy, I can get a good deal, but since it is Lockheed, the per unit cost will be a little North of $175,000.00.

…found the drivers side exhaust vibration damper about to fall off the car, three missing underbelly pan screws, and changed the oil 😬
