I've fitted black wheel nuts, painted wheel centre cap and mirror covers black.
I've also fitted a steeda throttle body spacer which surprisingly made a difference.

So, I know this not specific to a Mustang, but I wanted to let Aussie members know about this for their cars.

Months in the making, I have been sitting on this news for a while now..........

I have posted the story in my own thread, but I'm so pleased with the outcome of this. Happy to answer any questions regarding to these products, I have used them all extensively.

Washed my car with my new wash sponge yesterday. I got them from Japan and with buying 15 they worked out at $6.47 AUD each including freight. They are similar to the Kamikaze Hagakure sold in Australia for $22.50 plus freight and identical to those sold by a well known detailing supplier in the US for approx. $25 AUD plus a huge freight charge.

With the one wash completed the verdict would be that they seem to be a handy wash tool and appeared to do a good job of getting into tight spots. I imagine that their lifespan would not be as great as a microfibre mitt because bits will break off on sharper edges.
For the rinsing out when finished they excel.

If they don't work out you could always sleep on them.

So quick question. Any suggestions on how to prevent this happening again? I did get some HD foam for the garage wall but would like extra help.

Ouch! At my last house, which was bit of a hovel and had only a single car garage, I glued pieces of a foam mattress protector to the walls. It looked a bit ordinary but did the job. If I was doing it on a nice garage wall I would probably get something like https://www.amazon.com.au/Garage-Sm...arage+wall+car+door+protector,aps,261&sr=8-10

PPF on the door edges works well. It's minimal cost if done as part of say a front end package and good for 'just in case' since you never know when you'll next be in a narrow space when out and about.

Paging DFB5.0. Need some help/advice. Car serviced yesterday and they must have used an oversized wheel bit in the bolt holes and scratched my Matt black wheels. I don’t want to paint it unless I have to so wondering if you know of any Matt black wax that I could use to cover them? Thanks.

First of all, I hope you made some noise about that to the service manager!

The only wax that I can think of with a tinted black colouring is Poorboy's Natty's Paste Wax Black, although I doubt that would be a viable solution.
Get Poorboys Natty's Paste Wax Black | Waxit – Waxit Car Care

You can get matte black touch up pens -
Dupli-Color Scratch Fix All-in-1 Touch Up Paint Universal Flat Black - 7.39mL | Supercheap Auto

If you don't want to use a touch up paint, then look at using a black permanent marker to at least disguise the damage. I did this to touch up stone chips on my old PP1 wheels.

Serviced yesterday and washed today so only just saw them. I read on google the a black crayon might work to help hide the scratches so might give that a try first and then look at using a marker If the crayon doesn’t work. Thanks.
