Serviced yesterday and washed today so only just saw them. I read on google the a black crayon might work to help hide the scratches so might give that a try first and then look at using a marker If the crayon doesn’t work. Thanks.
Update. After reading a bit more I wiped them over with Gyeon Rim coating which I used on my wheels. Did a reasonable job of darkening the scratches/scuffs so much less visible.

Can you post a couple of pictures of the damage?

On the sides of the bolt holes. Sealant covers them up So much less prominent.

In that case, I would apply some black permanent marker, using my finger to blend it out. You would need to wipe the area over first with some IPA to remove the sealant so that it bonds properly.

A frustrating situation, we take good care of our cars but then hand them over to someone else at the service department who has no connection to the car and treats it without the same care.

Will try your suggestion. Marks before covering with Gyeon Rim. Very frustrating. I took it to the Ford dealer because I get free Sat Nav upgrade, which I needed, and free RACV cover, but will not go again.

I have had wheels damaged before at a dealer, it didn't end well.

I now make a point of at least asking for them to not use the rattle gun on the wheels. In most cases, they usually have no reason to remove the wheels anyway.

I also ask them not to use a rattle gun, and I supply my own torque wrench set to the setting I want, along with the correct size socket wrapped in electrical tape so they have to try really hard to scratch my wheels.

IMHO it's worth letting them know of your displeasure and suggesting that recompense is in order. Firstly it could be one cork head being hopeless and they can do something about it before they do the same to others, and secondly they also might offer a zinging discount on your next service. I travel 2.5 hours one way to get to the servicing dealer, and we've certainly had issues along the way the likes of which you wouldn't expect to come from a workshop. However, the Service Manager and I still have a great relationship as he'll always try to find a way to say 'yes' to claims and has knocked hundreds off my service bills in order to balance the sheet when things haven't gone well.

Sent photos to dealership telling them how unhappy I am and waiting for reply. Believe me, lesson learnt. . I don’t go to the dealer as I prefer specialist shops but this time I went for the reason explained above. thanks

my sympathies, a little anecdote - my f type has spline nuts with the aftermarket rims, took it in to Jag for a service (in which they have to take the drivers' side front wheel off to get at the air filters). Anyway I thought the steering was odd when I got it out but convinced myself it couldnt be, drove it around for a week or two quite enthusiastically, until this terrible squeaking graunchy noise made me think there was a stone in a caliper. Anyway drove it up and down the M1 and it was getting worse and a bit of steering shudder, so I had a guy come around to check. One nut completely off, another about to go, none were on properly.

They must have taken the wheel off then popped the nuts on and then got distracted before tightening them, luckily I didnt lose a wheel doing my favorite roundabout. Bearing went in that wheel shortly afterward, possibly from the wobbling.

To their credit, Jag fell all over themselves to apologise and make good, I learned the lesson not to assume they'd get it right.

For anyone interested, I used the black marker first and then Rim coating over. Still there if you look hard but otherwise virtually invisible. Still waiting for service manager to contact me.

Someone didn’t use an alloy wheel socket with the protective outer plastic sheath.

Good news! It actually moved this week.

The Mustang is nearing a milestone, although it will probably take me another 10 months to reach it! :giggle:

I drove it work to on Friday; the weather just perfect for Mustang driving. I also ran errands in it over the weekend. Enough to "justify" a wash...................

It's taking a bit to get used to the black lugs, still can't believe how much of a difference they make to the overall appearance of the car.

I know the electric dash in my Bullitt is more “ modern” but I really would rather have traditional gauges like in the earlier model. The electronic dash looks to flat and one dimensional to me. They should have given everything more depth.
