Haha yeah, I didnt know what to expect but I love it!! looks so good in person.
If you are getting yours done, highly recommend blacking it out - makes so much difference.
And also, new kits are very bright!! It can clearly be seen during day time without any problems

Yeah I had planned on getting them done but the blower has taken priority now. I'm getting Loudz to mail my kit to me and I'll probably look into it next year sometime.

Cheers
Phil

Has annyone bought extended warranty for their Mustangs? Is it worth it?

Not yet but I will closer to when the warranty is running out. From personal experience I have found extended warranty always handy. Had a harmonic balance blow on a Fairlane we owned, right when original warranty ran out. Some owners on here managed to get it from the dealer free (sadly not me).

Go for the MyFord one if anything Allan, it is the 'official' one offered by FoA and covers everything the same as the factory warranty, although I vaguely remember some trim items may not have been covered. I'll most likely do this closer to the time - it isn't cheap, about $1600 rrp or something like that.

Don't buy into dealer warranties, most aren't worth the paper they're written on.

I bought it, around the $1600 mark for 3 years extended MyFord warranty. Won't know if it will be worth it until the factory 3 years expires :)

Thanks Peter, Anne and Will for your replies. Much appreciated.

I had extended warranty on our X-Trail but it had to be serviced every 6 months to keep it valid. I paid for a major 40k service with only 6k on the clock despite having 7 services in the 3 year period prior. My oil would be still luminous yellow but I had to pay for oil changes, my tyres done 1k per 6 month service interval but I still had to pay for rotations.... And eventually I tore the warranty papers up at the Nissan dealership leaving the pieces on their bench because I had an issue with a transmission whine and they refused to acknowledge it.

So I vowed never to buy EW ever again. But the Mustang being new to Aus makes me wonder if it is a must have even if they steal your wallet over the period.
