What could this white stuff be?

Had three track days with the car and now it was time for an oil change. While checking things out underneath we found this white stuff splattered all over. The kid or technician thinks it was coolant. He says it dries white, but I’m not sure. Maybe I hit something. The car has 2,900 miles on it. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Could be coolant. Taste it? I’ve seen dried engine dressing or soap foam look like that as well.

I think it's coolant. When I swapped my OEM 180° thermostat back in I spilled a bunch of coolant. When it dried, that's what it looked like.

agreed, never taste any fluids…I learned this in the US Army, watched a Sergeant dress down a Private 5ton truck driver with a puddle of fluid under the drivers fuel tank (unbeknownst to either the driver or myself, the Sergeant had walked up to the truck earlier and took a leak under the tank) he essentially forced the Private to get down there and ID the fluid, which required a taste-test

yep that's coolant, I am sure you smell sweetness. My upper reservoir hose was leaking on both ends I replaced that junk. Its perfect now, look for one of the hoses leaking. Check out how mine was leaking.

Installed Mishimoto upper hose.

Hope they fix it should be easy fix. I showed my leak they said it was "overfilled" LOL. yeah right! So I said F them I bought the hose and replaced and put replaced the ugly reservoir lol .

I bet you one of the hoses is leaking around that area, my hose or clamp was defective from factory.

Bro you don't taste it, the smell is the easiest way to tell. Smells really nice. lol

Maybe fill the tank before goin to the dealer, you are missing a good liter of fluid there.
