What Car Wash Wax Products are you using I like the Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax

I have and many others are using other than Xpels stuff and no issues.

The car is my DD and it still looks like new with maintained properties.

I have coated the car with Carpro's Cquartz UK 3.0 and used several different top coatings. Also used different degreasers, pre-washes, shampoos etc

I do not disagree at all. I have used pretty much used all of them myself. Friends thought I was nuts when I started using CTP but after seeing the results they were impressed. Going with the same brand as your coatings just make the jungle a little easier to navigate. Probably cheaper in the long run too.

I've used this. Same application, either a waterless wash or during rinse/dry. $38 from Amazon for a gallon + 1 quart with a sprayer.

Here is what I use.


For wash.

For no rinse wash

Easiest wax to apply (lasts months)

If you want to use a real easy to apply sealant instead of wax (lasts about 6 months)

I like the Meguiars Hybrid Fruity Spray too. I just don't like the bottle. Like many others who ordered online, I received a bad one. But the product is solid. Just use it sparingly like their video instructs. Use too much and it'll be streak-city for you. Ask me how I know:



Currently, I bought a bottle of Turtle Wax Ice Seal & Shine which appears to be beating every product on the market according to several Youtube testers. I'm going to try it in a couple months after I've used up all the other product I've been testing.

I'll also be testing Eagle One Wipe & Shine Detailer. That seems to be pretty hot these days too.

Did my Supra last evening and hand rubbed her in which the hand rubbing is definitely a project. But once you have a good coat of this and or another wax the just spray and rinse is very nice.

The Meguiar’s Ceramic product is sold in WalMart (at least in this region).

In Canada our local Canadian Tire stores sell the Meguiar's Ceramic. Walmart doesn't have it here.

I use the Meguiars Ceramic. Used it on my wifes Tiguan and it held up for several months. Traded it in so I cant say how long. Put it on my Mustang the day I got it.
I used to use the Ultimate Liquid Wax, but the Ceramic is impressive stuff. I should have stocks in Meguairs with all of the products I have from them. I have a bookcase in my garage for detailing and 3 shelves are all Meguiars. lol
The waterless wash and wax is what I use in between. The stuff works wonders.

I'm planning to try out Mother's CMX soon, which is similar to the Meguairs Ceramic but doesn't apply with water. I have heard very good things about it.

Turtle wax seal n shine is a great product and I use it on my sons Ranger, cheap and available at Walmart. Before I purchased my Mustang I had great results using DPC Shield on my F250. When I brought the Mustang home I did a lite Meguiars polish and used DPC. When I’m finished washing I do a quick wipe down with DPC Armor diluted 1:1. DPC Shield is an easy to use ceramic coating. DPC worked great for me but if you don’t want to go through that process I would say Seal n Shine..
