Because the charger has 4 doors? Haha. And I want an auto for my next car. Curiously enough when I look at my previous cars, I've always done this:Why a Charger? At least look at the Challenger. The Charger is a huge boat it doesn't match the rest of your list at all.
I would stay away from the 4 cylinder turbo cars because they just don't do it for me. The VWs are overpriced IMO for what you get, the WRX still has that old engine.. Evo is a little interesting to me, but not much.
Since you don't have snow to contend with I would go Challenger. You could also look at an older Mustang or Camaro. I love the 2011 Mustang styling and you could probably get a great deal on one.
AT to Manual back to AT then back to Manual. So the next one has to be an Auto. Haha. Just kidding. If I am getting a VW, it has to be an auto because I think the DSG gearbox is pretty damn awesome.
The WRX has the new engine, the FA20. The STi is still using the old EJ25. The EVO X MR owners say they have problems pushing their cars above 400hp on the SST and I've read quite a few complaints about the SST gearbox.
No offense (not sure if I will offend anyone since this is a Mustang forum) but I hate the Camaros. I've rented one and the visibility in that car is bad. Very poor driving experience. The styling of the older mustangs do not appeal to me and they make less power than my current one.
