Very sorry to have to ask a dumb question like this on this type forum, but would appreciate the help. Have just taken delivery of a 2022 Mustang GT Premium Convertible and though I love many aspects of it, I hate the brake dust. It’s awful! Would like to find and have installed very-low/no dust pads without needing to change any of the other brake components. The car has optional 19x8.5 ebony black aluminum wheels running P255/40R W tires. There will be no tracking – just enjoyable highway and in-town driving. Looking at PowerStop and Hawk (and would consider other quality ceramics), but frankly I can’t figure out which pads are proper replacements because I don’t know the existing OEM brake system make, # of pistons, etc. One site I found indicated my Mustang has 13” rear and 13.9” front rotors – don’t know if that’s correct or not. Help, please.

The rears are all the same across all the cars (except Shelbys)
If your front calipers say "Brembo" on them, they are 6 piston. If they do not say "Brembo" then they are 4 piston.

When looking for brake pads, most sites will say "Brembo", "Performance package", "six piston" for the larger set so keep that in mind when shopping around.

There are 3 different front brakes and 2 different rear brakes. If you have a GT you have the standard, vented rears regardless and 1 of 2 front options. PP1 and Mach 1 have the 6 piston Brembo fronts but the normal GT has the standard 4 piston that all other V8 Mustangs have. Unless they say Brembo on them loud and clear you probably have the standard. If I had to hazard a guess I think they are 15"R/15.5"F.
