It's pretty well known that selecting the Sport mode adjusts the steering effort, the shock firmness and opens the exhaust. Does it adjust or tweak anything else. I see in another post that it apparently adjust the throttle drive-by-wire sensitivity (True? or False?). What else does it supposedly adjust or tweak over the Normal setting?

If you are talking about Sport+ using the driving mode setting toggle it changes the steering to the sport setting, it modifies the stability & traction control settings to be less intrusive and makes the throttle response more aggressive. It does NOT change the power level, change the shocks or change the exhaust in anyway.

If you are talking about the Sport position on the auto tranny that changes the shifting to hold shifts to a higher rpm and causes earlier down shifts. It does not impact anything else.

Actually, it DOES firm up the shocks and it opens the exhaust. It also makes the throttle more aggressive (which I really like).

There is no auto trans in a GT350.

Increases steering effort.
Increases throttle response.
Increases shock damping.
Opens exhaust valves.
Reduces stability and traction control intervention.

Also adjusts throttle response to be more aggressive.

Oops! Didn't realize you were talking about a GT350. I look at mustang6g via the mobil format and it doesn't display the sub forum.

So it doesn't change any of the engine operating parameters via the computer(s).

Thanks for the responses.

If you're asking whether Ford does what BMW did on the V10 M5, where there was more power available in sport mode, they don't. Full power is available in all modes.
