Thanks for that too, fellas but..

..the honest truth Ira is that I did come home for Buddy and it wasn't until I unpacked the car that I noticed how filthy it was. Once that thought was in my brain, it was all over. Were their tasks I could/should have done instead that would have been more useful? Heck yeah, the list is long but I'm pretty darn sure that everyone reading this knows that it's very difficult to walk away from a dirty vehicle when you have the time and required gear to "fix it." <BSEG>
Glad to hear you are both home safe and well.

Sometimes in times of stress, it can be helpful to immerse yourself in something to distract you from your troubles. That doesn't mean you don't care or are wasting time doing something trivial, rather nourishing your mind and giving it a break from worry. I dare say cleaning that car helped you cope more than you realize.

Hey @kilobravo glad to hear the missus is on the mend!❤
Glad to hear you are both home safe and well.
Thanks fellas and yes, other than when she tries to get out of bed and the pain from the incision hits her pretty good. Beyond that, she is mobile but it's gonna take some time before she's back to normal.

I dare say cleaning that car helped you cope more than you realize.
You know, that thought didn't enter my mind while cleaning the car but your suggestion hit home just now and I am sure you are correct, D.

Wanted to update y'all on my IK Foam Pro 12. You may recall I mentioned that my main air compressor was tits up so I couldn't pressurize the canister and had to use the old elbow grease.

Well, a friend of mine stopped by for coffee yesterday and when I mentioned the compressor, he wanted to have a looksee. He thought the belt was too loose so I grabbed a couple wrenches and a small crowbar and we tweaked the motor's position.

BINGO! The double pumper spun right up at a much higher RPM than before and best of all, no more screaching! <smile> I can't begin to tell you how happy I was and my friend will be getting a gift cert to his favorite restaurant. :=)

So first thing I did after he left was turn her back on and let her come up to pressure. Then, I started airing up the vehicle tires which I knew needed some. Turns out, all twelve tires needed air and not just a little, including the Shelby. Major league lack of attention to detail, I'd say.

But my old reliable compressor is BACK and the next thing I had to do was test out the IK sprayer. Hooked up the digital tire inflator and hit it with 100psi in bursts while watching the gauge. Didn't take long and right at 50psi, the relief valve opened. Pretty accurate engineering, right?

Been too busy with the current landscape border and lighting project to get around to washing a vehicle but they're all so filthy I'll certainly be using the new sprayer soon AND, I won't have to play Arnold and, "Pump You Up! <BSEG>
