Yes it shakes a little at idle and yes torques when on the gas.

Just looking at it from the drivers seat driving changes the experience visually. Made a cool car even cooler!

all machs should have shakers.
It would be nice as an optional choice from factory. But I wouldn't choose it, it serves no purpose anymore other than looks and is worse for aero, some things belong to the past (where not all Mach 1's had it either).

The GT500 hood makes more sense than our heat storing hoods. Even the GT350 hood isn't a bad option either.

It is functional and draws cooler air into the airbox

Can it be fitted if you have a supercharger?
You can mount it to the hood, like the guys did in 03-04. Then it truly is non functional and for looks only.

Edit: I was referring to the installation of a twin screw blower. Centri will still shake and add some function.

I believe only with a centrifugal supercharger. I plan on a Procharger at some point.

it doesn't. the flow dynamics do not actually allow any noticeable/significant air to enter the airbox from the scoop. Yes, the path is open, no, the air does not flow that direction. It worked on old cars when it went straight down into the carb. but it does not work when the air has to reverse direction then reverse again. it was mostly only aesthetic on the 03/04 as well.

CDC should put up the wind tunnel test results and dyno results or shut up.

This type of posting is going to eventually make me cut a hole into my perfectly good 2019 Bullitt hood. I see plenty of good S550 spare hoods on marketplace and CL too. The temptation is real!

Congrats Douglas for making an already awesome looking car even better. If you were to go back to the original Mach 1 posts the #1 think everyone was bitching about was the lack of the Shaker hood. Although not every M1 had it the Shaker was synonymous with the M1. Honestly any performance advantage is icing on the cake. Well done. :like:

Understood, which is why I asked if it actually shakes since the coyote runs so much smoother than the old pushrod engines.
Some just don't get it. Your old 302 was a High lift, loping engine. It shook, it rolled. The new cars such as the Coyote engines are high compression, well balanced engines. Except for racing and pulling through gears the engine WILL NOT Lope like the old engines.
