Fuck....Was playing with an R8 V10 Performance...as we're slowing down he bottoms out and something comes out from under his car and I had no where to go to avoid it. Would you guys replace this? Don't know if I can not replace...gonna drive me crazy.

Before you replace, I'd try a repair.

I'm wondering if the polymer is thermoplastic or thermoset. If it's thermoplastic, you could try using a heat gun to see how much self heals.

I’d buy a new splitter AND try to repair the beat up one personally.

If you did it once, it could happen again. Try to smooth it and consider it a battle scar. If you drive them stuff is going to happen.
Remember chicks digs scars and glory lasts forever.
Of course I daily mine and fully expect some battle scars. If it’s not a safety issue and does not make the car look like shit, it’s not getting fixed.
Just think, you now have a cool story and some street cred. Lol.
I could 100% live with that blemish especially after you smooth it out a bit.

I do not know that one. There are two in my area, one all black and a lawyer who has the blue one. The blue one is out of control loud and I know he sunk money into performance. He is at a lot of cars and coffee around here. I love your car man. That color is super nice. I hope to have one some day haha.. there is a guy with a white one around here and a lady who had a black one. Rarely see them out though.

Sand it then have it painted and clear coated. Matt or gloss would look nice. Good Luck

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I might have to get a pulley and tune.... I lost by a car or two to a 2018ish 911 Turbo S earlier this summer, thing wasn't stock either.

If something flew off his car and hit the front splitter of your car you were not neck and neck. Physically impossible. He was ahead of you. Unless there was an explosion of sorts parts don’t fly forward.

Eta: nvm saw you were slowing down.
