Weird "thump" noise ?

whats up mutang6g! just bought a 16 mustang gt pp a couple days ago and I'm getting some weird thumping noise when shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd after that the noise goes away. talked to people over at ford but they are no help over the phone. just wanted to see if anybody else is having the same issue as i am. other than that i love the new car.. thanks guys

seems to be a very common issue with the manual transmission cars - there is slack somewhere in the drivetrain

Yeah, we're getting pretty good at this thread by now.

It's worse when the biting point is so high. You tend to release that point very fast when its high up like that. Time to get used to the vague biting point. I test drove one and didn't like it at all so I bought automatic.
