Weird noise coming from manual shifter.

Anyone have a slight noise coming from around their manual shifter? I hear it in especially 5th gear, it must just be something internal rubbing. If I squeeze the shifter housing just below the reverse lockout it goes away while I’m squeezing. I’m wondering what the fix could be, it’s faint and only slightly annoying.

Are you bogging the engine? What rpm are you turning in 5th?

No. Running about 3k. It’s something vibrating inside the shifter. Probably plastic on plastic inside there.
