Ok, so I am having issues with my 2015 GT's A/C. When I start the vehicle in the morning everything works as it should, but when I start it in the afternoon after the sun is out for a while the fan motor barely blows. If I shut off the A/C recirculation button the fan will kick up a bit and move air a bit better, and if I turn off the A/C and just leave it on fan the fan works pretty much as normal. Would be that be the control module ? The car has the dual climate control set up if that matters. Could it be the blower motor resistor in this case ? I didn't think it would be because depending on the settings the fan works as normal. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

I would check the pressure in the AC lines. I can bet that your AC system is overcharged or undercharged

The A/C pressures are fine. clutch cycles exactly the way it is supposed too. the only issue I am having is with the blower motor speed itself being intermittent. if the weather is cool outside the blower motor works with any speed, yet if it is hot or has sat out in the sun the blower motor doesn't work at all, then if you turn off the recirculation button the blower motor starts to blow a little bit. it is the weirdest thing I have ever seen

It sounds like an odd situation. Were it mine I'd start by pulling out the cabin filter and making sure that it is flowing freely. If it's never been changed it could have very low air flow. Then I'd pull the blower and see how it operates on battery voltage. Then I'd check voltage coming from the blower resistor (or whatever it's being called). From there I'd probably hunt down whatever modules are responsible for blower speed and see if it/they are providing the correct output. And maybe pull the head/controls out to verify all connections are good. Also check that all of the blend doors are working correctly.
Basically start at the air intake and work your way in checking as you go.
Curious if the blower works correctly in heat mode?
