Week 5 - Still in In Order Processing

Signed paper works March 28. They provided VIN # after two weeks ago.

Checked Cotusb site, now on week #5 and it's still "In Order Processing". I called my dealership and they don't have ETA on my order.

Is there a better to track our orders? I don't want to burn my winter tires now that the weather is up to two digits.

If they have a VIN then ask the dealer for the build week, this is assigned when a VIN is created. That will roughly tell you when www.cotus.ford.com will switch to in production. As it will flip to in production seven days prior to the final build date.

Build week is usually 4 weeks after the VIN has been pulled.

Then the delivery date is week 5-6

That was my assumption but cotus website shows "in order processing". I understand the status if the order is on week 3-4, however no updates since then.

I might have a call my sales guy again.

On cotus, see if you can access the window sticker, it should be able to tell you when the car is scheduled to be built. That's the number at the top of the window sticker just to left of the center. Refered to as the blend date

I ordered mine in August, didn`t arrive until December.

The tracking system for Canada seems to be delayed compared to the US. Don't feel too bad though, I had ordered mine December 23, and didn't even have a VIN until mid February.

To makes things worse, I sold my summer tires on my DD. I'm stuck with my winters and I have an upcoming drive to Kingston for my Regional Basketball Tournament.

I ordered my car Jan 20th and it arrived 2nd week of March--once it goes into production the process is fast--and being a 6 hour drive from Flatrock the car showed up quick.
