You have to be in the beta program to get it. Was just released today. Do a Google search for Android Auto Waze Beta and should be able to find the link to sign up.

I signed up for Android because it said that there were no iOS spots available. That means they're testing for iOS as well, which is very exciting!

ME TOO.

I bought a Nexus 5 just so that I could have google maps, but I did not realize that android auto forces a bluetooth connection, so I can't use my iphone to talk on the phone while using google maps. I really want Waze though, since it is by far the best around here for traffic and alternate routes (which is crucial).

What I really wish is for apple to open it, which it looks like there's a chance!

I am in the Waze Beta and have been using it for 2 days now. So far it feels like it could be released (no bugs that I have run into) but I haven't really thrown it through it's paces. Point being, I wouldn't imagine this would be a long Beta. Not sure about the iOS side..

It is a stripped down App so not fully featured but I haven't run into anything that I needed that it didn't have. Is there anything in particular you would like me to test or look for?

I like the speed limit thing that turns red when you're speeding. Also, I'm wondering if they've turned off the reporting feature since that seems the most distracting.
