I saw some stripes on a rice burner the other day and I changed my mind about stripes on mine. I suppose if you do it very faint it could look good.

Would be interesting to know whether the 'fix' is already in place for newly assembled cars (including ours).

I do like the OTT strip but at the time I locked in my order there was no pics on the net to get a good view on what it would look like so opted not to. I do like the pics I have seen since !!

If you have any pics laying around or links to them, i'd appreciate you posting them. But I think I need to see them in the flesh before committing to them.

I originally opted for black OTT stripes on my DIB which I later asked the dealer to delete from the order when it was confirmed that they would be of the fading variety.

Vista, along with my window sticker, have since indicated that the stripes are still part of the build - so either my dealer forgot or it was too late to make any alterations to my order.

In hindsight, I'm actually quite happy about it as from what I have seen so far they may turn out to be awesome. If not, I will have the detailer remove them before he installs the stone protection/Opti-Coat.

Difference being that the poms could option the Shaker system - we couldn't.
