Currently loving the stage 1, I can't imagine how happy I'll be with the stage 2!

Well for the 5k it comes with their intercooler, intake and downpipe also. The turbo itself is around $2k too.Wonder if the guys who ordered the Full Race EFR 7163 kit @ $5k are going to ask for a refund and get the VTT Stage 2 turbo....
So they charge $3k for down pipe, intake and intercooler? :eyebulge:Well for the 5k it comes with their intercooler, intake and downpipe also. The turbo itself is around $2k too.

AgreeThere's a lot of R&D costs, production costs, etc., on everything in the kit. $5k isn't bad for all that stuff, but I think an option like this VTT is going to be a very hot seller for the price point they're hitting.

You can run any intake you choose, but by doing so expect to leave power on the table, with each component you do so with, might flow less, or be more restictive. As far as what to expect, we have no idea we haven't even started testing the unit yet. We will begin next Thursday when Adam returns, in the meantime, I'll run our 91 only map, swap the turbo on, and see what gains we get, then I'll do the same with E30. Once Adam returns, we will do a 93 only map, and 100% E85 map with port injection. At that point we will know what kind of power to expectWould an aftermarket intake be necessary with the stage 2? In keeping with a completely stock appearance, I would like to retain the factory intake with a drop in filter and a 3" catted downpipe into the stock exhaust. I already have the Mishimoto IC. On 93 octane, what kind of numbers should one expect? I understand that would leave some power on the table, which I'm OK with, as long as there are no ill effects.
