Looking for V3Si owners. How do you like this blower setup. What kind of power are you making. With what kind of assisting mods.

I'm going to be purchasing a V3Si here soon. I have a 2015 Auto with a converter currently. Car will have headers, E85, etc. I've seen a lot of these blowers on 11-14 GTs making decent power as well.

Any input from owners would be greatly appreciated!

I installed the same blower last November. It's my first car with FI, so I have nothing to compare/contrast, but I absolutely love it. If you go to page 66 in the attached link, it's a tech article on my setup. I have since added a wastegate, but the article will give you an idea of the power you can make.

I had the v3 on my 11 and ran it for close to 70k with no issues. It is a solid entry blower. Like beef said i would encourage you to look art the 2200 just because there is much more head room for the same price and there is no compromise in choosing the 2200 over the v3.

Very good to hear. I'm going with the V3 due to local buddy going turbos and selling the kit for a killer deal. He had the head unit sent off to vortech for a complete rebuild so virtually new headunit is a plus. Later on I plan on going JTB for more power.

I have the v3, probably should have went Paxton since it's essentially a "free upgraded head unit". At the time a black Paxton kit was not available.

- with full ARH off road exhaust, 3.6 pulley, BAP and injectors it made 633/511
- with full ARH catted exhaust, 3.6 pulley, JLT CAI, Fore fuel system (E85) and injectors it made 721/606

I've since added Beefcake's torque booster with 3.3 pulley and changed to 13lb springs, but haven't been to the dyno. It was a noticeable increase from the driver seat though.

How did the v3si hold up with the 3.33? I’m thinking about dropping down to the 3.48 but I’m worried I’d be overspinning the head unit

I have a customer who just made the jump 3.48 to 3.33. At the end of the day it's your call, but it's been done. Do you have headers done? Swap your mani to an 18? Just figure if theres anything left to target, do that, and then potentially go smaller (or really, consider a JT)

As Vortech / Paxton's largest dealer, we sell and install a ton of these setups. The 3.33 pulley is the smallest recommended due to rpm on the paxton or vortech setups, pulley selection should be based off fuel, and the 3.3 is alot on pump, but since your doing e85, it will be the all in size.

The paxton head unit will move a little more air, and is the same $$, we also have a custom setup , our stage 2 that we can do whatever pulley with, and is a better value than anything on the market!

Again, feel free to hit me with any questions

I have a Vortech V3si upgrade with the "Super Vortech" "porsche" motorsports kit. upgraded impeller, bearings, and seals.

Shortly after going to a 3.4 pulley, i started to get oil from the vent. After opening the case to do a impeller seal, I saw that the oil slinger had removed itself from the shaft and was getting chewed up by the gears..

Thats when i decided to send the unit to "porsche" for a rebuild.. three shipments and two months later and a rebuild and a half payment, i got my unit back. Boost feels great, comes on lower rpm and builds more up high.

BUT STILL PUKING FLUID from the vent.. This is just my experience. If you read into the V3si unit, they had a problem with the slingers letting go.. so it may just be a bad unit on my part.

Anyway, i've got a lot of experience with vortech units, came from the fox body world with multiple centris. Long story short, i'm shopping for a JT
