So the title says it all, I have a 2020 mustang GT/CS, I've never had any issues with it, last week when I started it the radio wouldn't come on, plugged in android auto and same issue. I hit the + Volume on the steering wheel, nothing, tried the knob on the display and the same. When I held the button down, it would display Volume 0 Minimum but refuse to change.

Its now at the dealer, and they're stumped, they also called and said my battery was completely dead after 1 night in the shop waiting to be worked on.

Anyone have any tips or heard of this before?

Thanks!

Sounds like it shut itself down to save the battery life. It will usually flash a message saying that's what it's doing, but may not have, or you missed it. If you put a new battery in it, I'll bet that fixes the problem.

99% it's your battery.

Maybe the volume down button is stuck in. I had my volume up button get stuck in and blew my ears off once.

Thanks all, appreciate the feedback, we're at day 3 of trouble shooting at the dealer, they typically send me updates around lunch, we'll see what they have to say today

Try a reboot guys. I’ve had my radio freeze up several times and this is how I reboot.

- Press and hold the two buttons with the arrows pointing to them (at the same time) until the screen goes dark. Several seconds later the screen will power back up and it should be working normally once again.

Yeah I’ve tried that and a master reset as well, nothing has worked so far
