I think they should have gotten the cam er plates for sure. I recently saw a YT video from a recent Mach 1 purchaser that had to open a ticket with Ford because they didn't receive the afformentioned parts even though it was an HP. That's what got me thinking.
People just don't know what they are looking for regarding the camber plates. See attached photo. If the car is a HP car, the strut towers will have a locating dowel in them.

Wow thanks guys. Ok. That really makes my negotiating better? Harder? It drove like a dream and that 6 speed wow. I hadn't driven a manual in 7 years and had zero problems except being rusty. It had aftermarket Toyos that are bigger than factory by one size. Now I know and have some very tough decisions to make. This forum rocks with special thanks to Cobrajet70. I'll keep you all posted.

:cwl: I just realized you’re in Canada. Now, remember to grab your Speedo when you’re headed to Florida in the winter and enjoy your car, which ever one you bring. BTW, that you on I95 towards Miami last winter? Edit- was that was a red convertible with Quebec plates.

I know on fords website the handing package lists a "split bench folding rear seat." Is that a way to quickly visually tell a HP from a faux one?
That is a normal feature on all mustangs. It's listed there as default because you could also get rear seat delete as optional.
