So I've had my new black GT Premium (no GT performance package) for one full day and had a chance to read up and play around with the virtual gauges.
I thought is was a very cool feature and was impressed with some of the parameters they show, like: Air/Fuel Ratio, Boot/Vac, Cyl Head Temp, Intake Air Temp, Voltage, etc.
So I get to the oil temperature and oil pressure and they are not virtual analog gauges with numbers on the gauge scale. In fact, the oil pressure doesn't even show ... it only says the word "Normal" on the listed parameters (a menu level above the virtual gauge). And the oil temperature is only a yellow, green, red zone type of gauge and no numbers. The oil temperature needle was however running smack dab in the middle of the large green zone.
I mean why would you have a "Cylinder Head Temperature" virtual gauge with numbers around the analog gauge and not do the same for oil pressure or oil temperature ... especially oil pressure.
Ford designers ... what's up there? :frusty:
