Anyone order the stripes from ford accessories yet?

I thought about it for awhile as I like the design below. In the end, I ordered from Big Worm as I really wanted to go with something more subtle. Gunmetal metallic stripes on Ingot Silver.

I am looking to put some Stripes on my new Mustang, I found two places with pre cut stripes:



1) Big Worm Graphix

2) Mo Pro Auto



Does anyone have experience with one or the other.



In addition some more questions?



1) If your going to get the car coated say with Opti-Coat Pro, would you do it before or after the stripes are put on?



2) I have never put stripes on, but have watched several you tube videos, do you recommend I do it myself or have a pro do it.



3) Any recommendations for professional stripes installers in the Long Island, NY area?

I purchased Big Worm and have the kit. Just waiting for a shop to get time to put them on. My Ford dealer wanted $850 to install them. Another body shop wanted $550. A second shop said they could put them on for less than $400. The directions that can with the stripes is very thorough. Can't wait to get them installed.

I would install them myself before I let my wallet get raped like that. I will be ordering from Big Worm and the most that I will pay is $150 to have them installed.

How would you manage to put them on straight? I'll be getting some stripes put on but I'd be very critical of it and I'm not confident my lines would match (it'll go from hood, roof, to trunk).

I installed the rocker stripes from Big Worm yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised how forgiving the 3M stripes are. As long as you wet the stripes you can work with them and adjust as you go.

Easier said than done. Still dunno if I could do it myself haha. I'd probably wear out the stripes before I would be satisfied. I know what color(s) I want, but I haven't figured out the style yet. It would be so much easier if I knew how to photo shop :(

I sent a request to Chrisvr6 on the forum along with some pics of my car and he photoshopped the rocker stripes on for me. As soon as I got his pics back I placed my order.

Black Mustang with flat matte black stripes. I'm not sure what style of the strips I want yet, I'm still trying to figure out what I like best.

I had found a picture of a 14(I think) mustang with black matte and a red accent towards the driver. The idea looks cool, but the color he/she chose comes off as orange and makes it look worse. I also didn't really like the style they did. But it gave me some ideas.

I included the picture of the car.
