I wanted to ask if anyone has gotten more vibration from the exhaust after installing bushings / bracings.

Just installed today a lot of stuff and some more coming on Wednesday. But i know i should have done it gradually but one time alignment make it simpler and i'm impatient :)

Me and my brother installed today:
Steeda trans bushing
steeda g trac k brace
steeda sub frame bushings and alignment
steeda sub frame braces
steeda jacking rails.

And this only goes for those who have installed an exhaust prior to installing suspension parts. I installed my corsa 2nd day i had it so i'm pretty famillar with the vibration / tone / sound. But leaving the shop tonight exhaust could be felt through the car if that makes any sense, like when it hits that low tone. I didn't real get on it hard cuz it needs an alignment after all that messing around.

I knew adding stuff would increase NVH slightly but maybe it's more drastic doing it all at once and it's nothing.

Thanks in advance. Will review all of the parts once i've had more time with them

Very possible. I have an annoying vibration from my magnaflow exhaust after putting in my headers and H pipe. The volume combined with the deep tone is like having a bass system constantly in the car. Steeda bushing is coming out as soon as my MGW shifter comes in so I'm hoping to see if that helps.

Yeah been spending the past hour trying to search the forum on reviews, and based on some people the trans bushing does increase vibration. I'm lowering my car on Wed so i'll probably take it out and go for a quick drive to see if that really is it. With my corsa the nvh is not slight, maybe for someone with stock exhaust or quieter exhaust it wouldn't be much, but it's noticeable and i'm not sure i want additional vibration.

Also around 2500 rpm in 4th gear it has this awful resonance. I'm hoping its the bushing cuz that is a quick fix but i added alot of components so it'll be hard to blame just one part for it.

I got some vibration when I installed the Steeda trans bushing - I had to pull it out.

FYI, I have all the other steeda stuff installed with no noise or vibration.

chrisgonzales most likely the trans bushing, if you want you can do like many others have and drill a hole in it. It eliminates 90% of the NVH and still firms up the shifts :)

Thanks for the input.

I'll give that a try, gonna take it out tonight and give it a quick drive just to make sure that is what is causing the nvh, then try to modify it. I plan on upgrading the shifter in the near future, so might not be too much of a problem until then to remove it.

Took it out, def was causing the additional vibration/noise. Will probably try modding it and reinserting it. I haven't really had issue with shifting, only had the car for a few months.

All the other Steeda parts are top-notch. No additional NVH, just more awesomeness

Glad you were able to narrow it down :)
