Hello all
This is my second post about my 2016 GT 350 not starting after my first post I replaced the clutch sensor and tried to start the car. It didn’t start turned everything off. Tried to start the car again and it started up fine since then it’s been starting every time I get in Today I go out and get in the car and it won’t start press the clutch paddle an the car energizes The light turns green I push to start button And then it starts blinking green check the relay, and also jump the terminals to check the starter and it’s fine, but it still won’t start and the press clutch shows up on the dashboard again

Hello all

Even though you manually actuated the starter, don’t rule out the starter being the problem child. Many of us have had intermittent starter issues requiring a replacement. I went through 3 starters before selling my car.

Even though you manually actuated the starter, don’t rule out the starter being the problem child. Many of us have had intermittent starter issues requiring a replacement. I went through 3 starters before selling my car.
Thanks for your reply, but when I push the starter button, I’m not getting any power to the relay to the starter

I had the starter come and go so many times, I started parking on hills so I could roll and pop the clutch to start. Sometimes, after starting the car that way, the starter would work the next time I tried…. So weird.

I’m willing to bet if this is a recurring problem, the starter is bad. It’s possible that if the car sensed the starter circuit wasn’t acting normally the first time you tried, it stopped trying to trigger the relay during subsequent starting attempts.

It seems like 90% of the problems with this car are either a failing battery, bad starter, or VCT wiring/solenoid problem.
