Just posted a new thread asking for pics of that setup. I am sold! Time to order

Yeah looks good, just double check the legalities.

I know the 295's are all good... all the maths was done earlier in the thread, not sure how 305s fare in that regard.

On a side note..... anyone know the maximum speed rating on the stock Pirelli tyres?

In NSW you can increase the overall diameter of the tyre by 15mm.

The 275/40/19 OEM has a diameter of 702.6mm, so you can go to 717.6mm.

A 305/30/20 tyre will have an overall diameter of 691mm so you're OK.

A 295/35/20 tyre will have an overall diameter 714.6mm so still OK.

A 315/30/20 tyre will be 697mm so still OK.

A 325/30/20 for the rear is about the limit in width, the diameter is 703mm.

A 315/35/20 will be 728.6mm so this is outside the limits set by the RMS.

For the front, the OEM tyre 255/40/19 has a diameter of 686.6mm; the limit it can be increased to is 701.6mm.

I couldn't find a 305/35 tyre in 20".

Best to check the overall diameter of the tyre on the manufacturer's website.

295's just seem like they will be less hastle when you need new ones... more places will probably actually stock them.

Still think Michelin's are the way to go, tyre wear will be interesting

Tire wear will depend on a large variety of things. Ranging from the type of driving the individual is doing as well as tyre pressure and even weather/storage etc.

They look great! I'm having a hard time deciding between the black or bronze VMB9's.

Enjoy the car when it arrives.
