Hi all,

Can anyone suggest how to source and ship PP2 wheels to Australia for a reasonable price?

The ‘new take off’ companies in the US I have contacted to date don’t fill me with confidence and the shipping costs are always sky high.

I have looked at replicas (e.g, SVE) but they don’t look quite as good as the Ford product to my eyes.

Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm keen to know this too. I agree with everything you have said.

Get the vendor to box them up and use a freight forwarding service, like MyUS or Shipito.

They shipped a set of wheels for me for around $400 AUD.

As mentioned, use a freight forwarder. Just do NOT use USATOAUS.
I made that mistake and later learned that I wasn’t the only person to have significant issues with them.
All reports I’ve heard for Shipito are good.

I reckon those PP2s one of best looking wheels around.
However - heard on one YouTube report they do not fit/swap straight across to standard GT.
Happy to be proven wrong.

These are the same wheels being fitted to the new Herrod built R-SPEC, so should fit the Aussie GT with standard brakes. If you have the larger GT350R brakes, then there might be clearance issues.

It looks like the R-Spec's wheels are from The 2020 EcoBoost High Performance package offered in the US. Due to wider rims & offset, the PP2 wheels stick out too far beyond the front guards for ADR compliance.
